Our standard turf care program consists of 5 yearly applications.
We can tailor a program to your lawns specific needs as well.
App. 1) Early Spring-Consists of balanced granular slow release fertilizer to help green up your lawn & bring it out of dormancy. Crabgrass pre-emergent is also applied to keep this nasty weed out for the season.
App. 2) Late Spring-Consists of balanced granular slow release fertilizer to maintain color & keep lawn healthy & lush. A liquid broadleaf weed control is applied to control broadleaf weeds (dandelion, clover, chickweed, etc.)
App. 3) Summer-Balanced non burning granular fertilizer with iron is applied to help maintain lawn's color & resist disease. Liquid broadleaf weed control is used to spot-treat any weeds that have popped up.
App. 4) Early Fall-A balanced granular slow release fertilizer is applied to help lawn recover from the heat & stress of the hot Summer & stimulate root growth. Liquid broadleaf weed control is applied to control late germinating broadleaf weeds.
App. 5) Late Fall-"Winterizer" application consisting of quick release Nitrogen & Potassium is applied to build lawns carbohydrate reserves for the Winter & next year. This application also promotes quicker green-up in the Spring.
