MOLES!

Moles tearing up your lawn?
Your yard is looking great one day & the next, it is destroyed by mounds of dirt & zig-zagging tunnels!
Sound familiar?
Mole problems can be frustrating for homeowners!
Many a homeopathic remedy exists for these creatures, but in the end, you'll be out money, time, your sanity and.........you'll still have the same mole problem!
Don't believe the false information out there-Putting chewing gum, poison peanuts, smoke bombs, etc. do not work! Getting rid of all the grubs in your lawn will not take care of them either. Why? Moles are insectivores & eat much more than grubs, in fact earthworms make up the majority of their diet.
What to do about them?
They must be killed...Plain & simple!
We offer Mole trapping & baiting to rid your lawn of moles.
Moles never hibernate & control of them is possible anytime of the year
(as long as their is no snow cover)
Mole Control Options
Trapping: We first come out & assess the mole damage & determine what tunnels are currently active. This requires crushing parts of the tunnel system & returning 1-2 days later to see which tunnels have been repaired. After determining the active areas, traps are set. We will return 3-5 days later to check traps & remove dead moles & move traps to any other new tunnels if needed. This process is repeated until no new mole activity is observed.
How do we charge for this service?
Trapping is set up on a 6 month basis. We agree to take care of any moles in your lawn for a 6 month period. What does it cost? Typical cost for up to 1/2 acre lawn is $150 for all assessments & visits for 6 months & includes first trapped mole. Additional trapped moles are $50 each. Larger lawn areas are priced proportionately to their size...
A custom quote can also be provided for 6 month unlimited moles trapped
Baiting: We first come out & assess the mole damage & determine what tunnels are currently active. This requires crushing parts of the tunnel system & returning 1-2 days later to see which tunnels have been repaired. After determining the active areas, we will insert "poison worms" in active tunnels. We will then return in 5-7 to determine if the bait has been taken & if there is any additional activity & repeat if necessary. This bait has been proven to work by Purdue University.
How do we charge for this service?
With baiting, there seldom is a dead mole recovered, as they die where they live-underground. One time control with baiting up to 1/2 acre lawn is charged $75 plus $5 for each bait "worm" placed.
