Grub Control

Grubs can devastate a lawn!

Grubs are the larvae of several types of beetles. In Northern Indiana they are mostly Japanese Beetles & Masked Chafers. Damage occurs when the grubs hatch from eggs in the late Summer/Early Fall & feed on the roots of the grass in your lawn. The chewing off of the roots by the grubs causes the turfgrass plants to dry up & dye. The damage usually occurs in irregular shaped patches with active grub feeding found at the margins. Secondary damage occurs when insect eating animals such as skunks & racoons dig up the lawn to get at the grubs.

What to do about it?

A preventativeĀ grub control applicationĀ means that you can rest assured that you won't have a grub problem to deal with! A preventative application applied in the Early Summer will protect the plants from grubs for the season.
